Coating Thickness Gauges
Coating Thickness Gauges measure coating thickness on ferrous substrates using magnetic inductance and non-ferrous substrates using the eddy current method. Very thin coatings can be accurately measured by simply applying the probe to the surface requiring measurement. Gauges are available for just ferrous or non-ferrous measurements or with combined probes to automatically sense the substrate.
Katex offers a full range of coating thickness gauges for different applications. Some have integral probes for portability whilst others have exchangeable probes for convenience.
